A little bit about Judy
Judy Aron is not your typical alt-pop, folk-rock, indie musician. She takes you on a sonic journey through her musical blend as she soars through genres seamlessly. Judy writes about life experiences and reveals her heart and soul in a way that speaks to everyone around her.
Judy began writing music at 18 years old. She produced and released three CDs, "Curious Jude", "the last thing on your mind", and "Call it What You Will”. They are shining examples of Judy’s evolution as a writer and singer.
In 2009 she met Steve Coleman while playing in a pub near home, and Chasing June was born. Chasing June has been a darling of the critics, appealing to their senses of musicianship and highly energetic shows. Together they released “Under the Slate Grey Sky” (2011), “Fly” (2014), "Take Our Time" (2014) and "Practicing Quiet" (2017), all of which have received radio play and high praise from many of the local and regional DJ’s.
Since 2009 Judy has released an album consecutively bi yearly. In the spring of 2019 she released her 5th solo album "Rear View Mirror" and 2020 saw the first release of many EPs, "The Sky's the Limit".
In 2021, she rolled on with "Is This Thing On?". Following that, Judy released an instrumental album called "I'm at a Loss for Words". It is an eclectic collection of genre-hopping ditties. In the fall of 2022, the new release: "Caught in the Crosswalk".
Not to be slowed down, Judy released another collection of instrumental music in the spring of 2023 called "I Have No Words".
In 2024, Judy put out a love letter CD called "Muses" containing 12 covers of female artists that influenced her the most. Then in September of 2024 published another EP of originals called "Don't Wait Up" -an EP that might be the strongest to date.
While she is streamed all over the world, several of her songs have been licensed for movies and short films, including "Hero Mode", "Paige", and "Creature".
She is currently working on new material, of course.
